Unlocking a Social Talent

A physics student at FUTA and a licensed electrician, Damola, known to most as Damzea. His hands have wired buildings, and now they build something entirely different: value, presence, and purpose in the digital space.
His entry into Social Mining wasn’t born from experience, in fact, he had none. What he did have was curiosity and a mindset that “growth should never be silent.”
Unlocking Creativity
Before Social Mining, Damzea didn’t see himself as creative. “I had ideas,” he recalls, “but no outlet.” It was through observing others, diving into tutorials, and pushing past the fear of not being good enough that he started to find his rhythm.
Social Mining pushed me to unlock that side. I didn’t believe I’d be researching this much, typing this fast, or even joining live chats and tasks just for growth.
It was exciting but tough, I had no design experience and a terrible network at home. I couldn’t reach Taiwo much, so I taught myself PixelLab through YouTube and asked ChatGPT for guidance.

From that point, I stopped just “trying” and started improving for real. The shift came from struggling, surviving, and realizing this wasn’t just a platform to earn, it was a place to grow.
Calvin and Arolee_Bankz, whose learning spaces became launchpads. From there, he transitioned from just “trying” to truly growing.
The Moment It All Shifted
Like many, he came for the rewards. But one particular video task changed everything. He took his time, put in effort, and the positive feedback hit differently. “It clicked,” he says.
“Social Mining isn’t just a task-grind, it’s a place that rewards effort, rewards growth. It’s a platform that actually rewards growth and effort. Since then, I’ve taken tasks more seriously, grown my design skills, and enjoyed watching others grow too.”
He started enjoying the process, crafting with intention, pushing his design skills, and taking pride in every task. That shift from doing it for the points to doing it for personal excellence became the foundation of his growth.
Beyond the Dashboard
Social Mining’s influence didn’t stop at the screen. “I’ve not had to do site work for two semesters now,” Damzea says, a quiet pride in his words.
“It’s been putting food on my table, and more importantly, it’s helped me pay my tuition all by myself. I feel proud of that, and so do my parents.”
I'm always grateful to this community and to DoctorTaiwo for putting me on this track ”
More than the financial stability, it’s the confidence, the consistency, and the inner growth that stands out. A platform that started as “just a side thing” is now something he credits with changing his direction entirely.

Core Beliefs
Damzea lives by two rules: “Consistency beats talent” and “Always try before you ask.” A recipe for someone who’s not just surviving in Web3, but thriving.
“I hold on to loyalty, hard work, humility, and creativity, these are values I try to reflect in everything I do, whether it’s a simple task or a big campaign. My mum has always reminded me to stay humble, no matter the wins.
Social Mining didn’t just change my routine, it changed my mindset, my confidence, and my entire direction.”
His gratitude is loud and clear, to his mentors, to peers who inspired him, and to the founder who built the space where he found his voice.
Damzea’s journey reminds us that real growth often begins where comfort ends. From a student with no design experience to a consistent contributor in the Social Mining space, his story is one of quiet resilience, bold learning, and intentional evolution.
It’s not just about earning, it’s about becoming. And for anyone still doubting their place in this space, his path proves one thing clearly: you don’t need to start with talent, just start with the will to grow.
